BLACK DANIEL: LAST GIG OF THE YEAR TO CELEBRATE THE 12 DAYS OF ‘BLAXMAS’

Blaxmas E-Flyer

To celebrate these somewhat filth-laden tidings we’re being brought, the Black Daniel boys are holding their own little advent for you all. Until the 19th December, there will be 12 special, individual and free downloads available from the bands MySpace. The downloads comprise of live favourites, unreleased tracks and remixes, and are prefaced by wickedly surreal footage from the band themselves.

All you have to do is go to www.myspace.com/blackdanielspace and click on the obviously festive Ray Bans of our lord and saviour, Jesus Christ. He’s well stylish.

And on the 12th Day of Blaxmas (sing along if you please..), the band will be celebrating in style with their final headline slot before the New Year with a hootenanny the size of Santa’s Mince Pie inflated belly.

To open that first window of this wonderfully fertile advent calendar, get to the MySpace and download ‘It Gets Cold’, which was recently featured on Drowned In Sound’s Spotifriday playlist and is on the recently revived ‘Hard Times On The Way’ album which is now available once more on iTunes and all other major digital distribution portals.

But, you may not have to fork out for that just yet. On that 12th day, the band will be releasing the whole album FOR FREE FOR ONE DAY. That day will be 19th December, the final day of these festive celebrations. As well as that, anyone who downloads the album will be able to see the band, again, FOR FREE, at 93 Feet East, which will be their final date before the New Year (well, technically, there’s still NYE at The Windmill in Brixton to be had).

Anyho-ho-ho, get to www.myspace.com/blackdanielspace  to get your hands on these stocking treats! And don’t forget that their newest single, ‘Look Away Sancho’, is still available for free download at www.blackdanielvision.com  . This is the first release from ‘Let’s Get Sued’, the band’s brilliant second album that will be available March 2010.

That’s about all the Xmas related plays-on-words we’ll throw at you for now.
